New member Dublin

Hi all, I am a new Monster owner but not new to Ducati as I have last year sold an ST4S.
I have bought a lovely S2R, 2005 with only 8000 miles.
I lam looking forward to chatting here and getting inspiration and great info.
I cannot seem to upload a pic, wonder is the file too big? It is jpeg.

Thank you all, I appreciate it.
The bike was bought here in Dublin by a business man and he went to italy on it and toured around which accounts for a fair chunk of its 8000 miles, he used it for an odd weekend spin here and then it went into storage in a warehouse he owned until 3 yrs ago. It was then bought by another guy who put up about 1000 miles and he sold it to me. It is all original.

@Luddite, thanks for sorting the pic

@AlanS4 ....some polishing has commenced all right

@Darren69...do you have a link to a good decat pipe, ive sen pics and I like.....

If you can't find a second-hand example, they're still available new.

By the way, it might just be an optical illusion, but check the pipe from the front cylinder where arrowed as it looks like the plug for the inspection hole might be missing

There's the Marving one and there's also the Spark one here:-

There may be a few others like Arrow or SIL and I don't know if MADASL have them?

http://www.madasl.co.uk/

They'll probably be able to make you a full system for not much more.

It shows as £256.67 for me but then we in the UK have to pay import duty and VAT on top Thanks to Brexit

Yep, Brexit put the kaibosh on us buying bikes or cars in the UK too, they charge us VAT now as well as VRT if we bring one in. Also we run the risk of customs opening items we may buy in the UK, parts etc and charging VAT on those also, happens a lot. luckily I have a friend up North so can post to him and go up and collect.
It wasnt really that Brexit caused as the Government using it as an excuse to stop people going to the UK, the motor lobby is strong here.
