Exhaust Cleaning & Care

I have sadly just spent the last 3 hours stripping, cleaning and polishing my exhaust and wondered if anyone had any tips on whether there is anything to put on it to protect it and keep it from getting as tarnished again?

Probably a bit more extreme than you're looking for but you could get it lightly nickel plated.
My 04 ktm dirt bike had it from the factory and it's still pretty good, especially considering all the mud and abuse it takes.

All re-assembled now, you're right Wez, half a tube of Autosol used.

What are the 3 sensors that are bolted in the pipes, something to do with a catalytic converter / restricting emissions? I also guess with the sensors taken out is what people mean by a de-cat pipe.

Hi Pomp, how much for the Ti pipes, do you sell the different sections that can be bought separately or is it all one system?

You have 2 lambda sensors to control injection parameters and 1 flapper valve to control noise.
My tip to clean exhaust is wire wool and wd40 (apart for Ti).
I have all in one systems as in the new ones the cat is in the cans.
