2006 Monster 620 ie black
Hi, I want a ducati monster 2006. As it will be my first monster (but of course not the last one), I´m not sure if I should go to 620 or something bigger. Actually, I´m also intersted on a s2r, but ialso want it black. After 5 years dreaming with it, I took a decision I´m buying a monster!!!
I´m spanish (sorry for my english), living in london, but I can go evreywhere in this country if I found my perfect bike!! I´m looking for something as new as possible (no more than 5.000 milles...). I´m looking for a new one in deed, but I think there are not. If anybody can help, suggest or offer me something I would be glad!! Thank you very much! Viva la monster!! |

de precio esta bien pero tienes razon...if you're not in a hurry to buy do not make any rushed decisions.

Hi there
The ad posted earlier (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...STRK:MESELX:IT) is to my bike (a 2006 black 620 ie), which i've also advertised on here (http://www.ukmonster.co.uk/monster/s...&highlight=620). The auction ends on Sunday I can't read all the Spanish (!) but wanted to let you know that my bike is pretty much like new as it has only done 3,700 miles (the new back tyre, battery and break pads that it has just had help too!). I am based in Islington - 5 mins from Highbury and Islington tube. Why not come and see the bike? You are welcome to test ride if you bring me the asking price in cash - you can then see if you like the bike. I've really enjoyed the bike and found it a lot of fun - i bet you would too! Thanks Chloe (07771608189) |

mmmm intersante...
Thx! |

Chloe!
What can I tell you! It looks great, but I don't know if I have time enough to decide. The thing is that I don't know how much does it cost to transfer the ownership of the bike, insurance and these kind of thing that I should check before buying... I just moved to London 2 months ago, and I have to check all this (If I'll be able to take to Spain in one or 2 years...) Anyway, maybe I'm calling you this evening to take a look! Time is not my friend in at this point, but If you don't sell it, please let me know!! Thank you |

JohnX I'm English but live in Spain, Andalucia. The Transfer Ownership system in England is very different and very simple compared to Spain. There is NO COST at all in England, and the paperwork is one document that the seller will fill out for you. It's easy. Also my insurance in UK is about one fifth of what it is in Spain! If you live in london though the cost may still be high.
To import the bike to spain in a couple of years would cost you about 700 euro's, I did my 900Sie just last month. Ducati's in UK are much cheaper than Spain (and generally better maintained)so just go for it |

Not intending to hijack the thread but where do you service your ducatis in Andalucia? We have got two rural houses near Almachar (Velez-Malaga) and I was thinking to drop a monster there at some stage.... |

Diego I service it myself but I did visit a Ducati and triumph agent in Malaga City who have workshops with viewing windows so you can watch what they do to your beloved. I can't remember the name of the place right now but it was pretty swish with loads of beautiful Bimota's on display. 'didn't stock my brake pads though! If you're coming down by bike sometime drop me a line and I'll meet you around Madrid and share the ride south.
By the way what are those silencers on your bike? Last edited by steve wright; 25-11-2009 at 07:48 PM.. Reason: forgot something |

Excellent fella. My job is up for competitive reselection im May so I wonder what will happen employmentwise. Nonetheless a ride to Spain will happen in 2010 no matter what. Prob early or late summer 2010.
