can someone help with homologation ?

Well I have my first monster but it nay soon become my last...

The problem is the bike was uk registered and I'm now trying to re-register it in spain.

I think if I can make up a 'manufacturers' number plate with the frame number as well as a homologation number I can do it, so...

Is there a homologation number for a standard UK 1998 M600 ?

Cheers

Geoff

I would speak to someone at Ducati UK, its usually the manufacturer that registers type approval and this should be valid in all EU countries. Otherwise they couldn't sell the vehicle in that country.

I'm sure they should be able to supply you with a Certificate of Conformity and such like.

The frame number is on the frame already, what you want is the sticker that has the ZDMxxxx stuff on it.
Not sure if you would get a Spanish specific market one as it usually refers to the bike in its original specifications (dip left or right etc).
There will be a spanish equivalent of NOVA to register 'foreign' bikes though how convoluted it is I don't know.
