I saw this tip in the last couple of weeks but I can't remember where. Was it on the new series of The Motorbike Show on ITV4 perhaps? Allen Millyard is appearing on that.

Yep, a handy tip.
I thought it particularly neat that the way to remove the washers was simply to lower the centre-stand. I'm not exactly sure why that made me smile so much. |

That old chestnut!
Easy if you have a hook to pop the spring over, but not so clever if you have to bend the spring to get the spring hook through a hole, as half the washers fall out! Wear gloves if you try this..
