Bike mover

Hi everybody, sorry its been so long. Lots been going on in my life lately. New baby, left the flying business, loss of a dear family member and looking to start a business of my own... just been one thing after another. Haven't put a mile on the bike this last year so it would be nice to start adding a few given the good weather.

My question though is this, I seem to remember somebody in the club starting a motorcycle moving business but can't find their details. Can anybody get me in touch? Selling off one of the bikes, not the EVO though! Need to get an R1200C from Hertfordshire to Porto.

Thanks!

that was matbat (Matt Foyle), not sure if he’s still in business but I think he was UK only anyway.
You could try https://www.chasmortimer.co.uk/

Greg! How the hell are you?
It has been a long time, I figured you would be run ragged flying mail and goods into the Country, but clearly not if you're not flying anymore!

Congrats on your new baby and good luck with the new venture...

Hope to see you around.

I would highly recommend, top service at a reasonable cost.

I saw Chas Mortimer race at a few international and GP meetings in the 70s.
He clearly has a long history of moving bikes around on the Grand Prix circuit and a lifetime involvement with bikes in general, so should be a fair bet.

So £30k (?) worth of bikes insured, transported 1000miles and across the channel, sounds reasonable to me

Oh my lord and in my favourite colour too.

Don't bother unloading it Colin. Just send the van straight to me with the 750GT in it.. You can keep the rest.
