High mileage, no service it apparently will get belts and oil. No filters, no suspension service, no head stock. You would need to spend another 1k to 1.3k and it still has 23k miles. I can get for same price fully serviced s4r in red with 15k miles.

Plus seller is bit off as spoke to them they know what desmo service includes and told me they will only do belts and oil regardless then sell as serviced,

Found s4rs with 9k miles for 8.5 got to talk to them tomorrow.

Fyi there are 3x s4r for sale, 4x s4rs and only 2x s2r1000 maybe 3 if you include high mileage project lol

23000 miles on a 20 year old bike is not really high mileage is it, really? they're much more robust than the air cooled motors. I'm sure he said it had the full desmo service about 1000 miles ago in the ad but hey you would need to spend some cash for tyres etc but not 1k to get it good and o.n the road. Just some weird stickers on the engine etc so it is with caution I mention it. At 5.4 I would consider 6 with new rubber a good buy

Desmo was done 1k miles ago in 2019 it needs desmo including all fluid change, suspension front needs to be serviced, at 23k and so much standing in between possibly clutch. Also could not find info on previous service as well. It feels odd to me.

Anyhu may go for s2r or m1000ie as got unexpected expense and just keep looking over wi ter for s4rs to keep.

It needs belts and fluids that's a given, but if it's had the full head service it needs little else, but that is up to you to confirm. Still a good price for one of those, S4RS are getting stupid expensive and that is as close as you can get to one for half the money.
