Ordered and received my new genuine Ducati link so I thought I would replace it today. Ground out the old pins and split the chain but I need a new chain splitter as my old chinesium one is crap, only been used three times. Anyway tried to fit new soft link and it don't fit. I got the number from the Ducati website, confirmed by my dealer and the pins are .2mm too thick. So I have my Monster up on a stand without a chain until I can obtain a new link from my dealer.
Just be aware that just because the spares catalogue says it right doesn't mean it is.

PBR Motion pro or whale chain tools. You’ll never look back after you use them.

Just wind in a few zippy ties, fix anything though that's usually in conjunction with a bit of gaffer tape so use with caution
