Ignoring Service Indicator

I had my bike serviced before the light came up and now the dealer I used has closed down, there aren't any nearby. Does it matter if I ignore the symbol? For example my car will say I've exceeded the service by xx miles

I'd rather just leave it until my next service

It does not matter. Which part of London you at now is the metropolis far away?

Still in NW London. I was using Metropolis in Barnet but they closed down a few weeks ago, the Vauxhall branch is too awkward to get to

I was told they closed down because Mike left to move on to other things. They helped me out when I had my crash and they were nearby, all seemed like nice guys too

Yeah, you can ignore it. I had the same with my 821. I had it serviced and then it popped up a week later. I just swung by Pro Twins and the switched it off.

Why not go see someone like Ray Petty and have the light reset? He’s just south of the river by the O2

ledheadlamp: If you have an S4R (your profile) showing 'Maint', it's easy to fix yourself

Hold down the left-hand button, switch on ignition,
let go of the button and then turn the ignition off
and all sorted.
