Many thanks for saving that Boris. (You need to copy and paste the "BBCode full linked")
I was a few mm out here and there measuring the now curved and bent original.. Probably better amend the pencil drawing?

I made and fitted one of these today. Used a mild steel radiator bracket, pre bent right angle for the mounting tabs and about 1.2mm thick so fairly easily cut and bent into the curve.
Couple of slight mods from the drawing needed. Where it passes the clutch slave cylinder, i had to cut a section out about 3 - 4 mm back to step it in as it was obstructing the rubber boot on the inside of the slave. Also, below the bottom mounting hole, there's a fairly substantial web on the engine casing which got in the road so i stopped the guard just at the bottom mounting tab.
Otherwise all fitted easy and the drawing was spot on. Many thanks for posting the diagram.

Mr G. Thanks for the plans.. and thanks also to manwithredbike for the great tip on using an old radiator wall bracket. Spot on fit, easy to make and fit to my 97 M900 during a chain and sprocket change - a job that was well overdue.

If anyone doesn't have the wherewithal to make there own I found a guy on FB who makes them from SS and sends them to the UK (from Romania) for €40 ish.

I took a risk and it arrived in about a week as he makes them to order and a trial fit shows me a bit of adjustment is required.

Edit: search for this guy on FB: Dragos - Leonard Panaitiu

You can post a link Howard, just make it clear it's 'at your own risk'.
The first time someone has a bad experience, they'll shout loudly enough I'm sure.
