ride out today to Louigi moto and beyond

Went for a nice long ride today from Cirencester down via Bath to louigi Moto ,, what a great place , they had the spares i needed , and i now know I have a good place for jobs i cant do myself .. also picked up some great cheap ciders from next door.

Back on the bike stopped at a random pub , run by Thais in Blagdon so had some nice Thai food for lunch and a pint of local cider ,,,, Next jobby go check my Motorhome repairs in Weston Super mare . a nice ride over the Mendips

Van is at Motor bodies weston ,, supposed to be completed by 6 May , LV the insurers told me it was ready to collect but I did not believe them ,, rode the bike from Cirencester to Weston Super mare to have a look see.... Ok all the structural repairs are completed but the van is not yet painted as one painter on Holiday and the other is sick,, and also some parts still delayed ....quality of work done is excellent Im happy so long as its back in 2 weeks ....good day out for motorcycling ,,

Now time after 52 years to have a good look round Weston .

I also sussed out why in 1972 on our school camping trip to Somerset when I was 14 the teachers dumped 80 of us out of the Minibus on the Northern rocky dangerous part of Weston Super Mare beach and not the lovely southern sandy bit ........... 52 years later its bloody obvious there are NO PUBS on the southern bit !!!!!!!!!

If I remember correctly the minibuses were all Mk1 Transits 15 seaters and we had 6 so they were overloaded with 80 boys and 8 or 9 teachers all pissheads , us lads had 4 pint bottles of scrumpy and joints the teachers preferred Guinness , or some other crap like watneys red barrel ,,,, great times the 1970s

Next up to Gloucester to Frasers to look at bikes and than home via stroud valleys , to cirencester total miles today 174,
