Nonnie's Monster (620ie)
Nonnie has asked this thread to be moved - Ped
Seeing as this is one of the nicest, best executed rebuilds of any monster on this site, Nonnie's Monster rightly deserves it's place in the UKMOC Bikes Gallery. The time and effort Rod and Nonnie have put into this bike makes it one of the prettiest around! Below is a run down of all the modifications carried out to the Monster. Nonnie
as you've made the right choice to keep your Monnie, rather than delete the fine pictures etc, I've moved it to the UKMOC Gallery so everyone can appreciate it properly!! Hope this is OK with you, Ped

Ode to Nonnie's bike
With due recognition to Rodders and apologies to Don Mclean for adapting 'starry starry night'
Starry starry bike Paint your panels ‘till they shine How I wish that she were mine! But I’m glad she’s staying put Inside Rod & Nonnies hut Powdercoat your wheels Fit rizoma everywhere Polish ‘till the people stare Reflect in Nonnie’s tank of deepest black That is no old hack But I’ll never understand Why you offered it to Mand Or any others in UKMOC When there’s few miles on the clock I’d love to ride it round the block The standard parts are minimal You prefer them to be ergal It’s a beauty, there’s no doubt Had it gone, you’d scream & shout When you saw it out and about Now I understand what you tried to say to me And how you suffered for your sanity And how you tried to set her free For they could not love her like you But still your love was true But I could have told you Nonnie These roads were never meant for one as beautiful as she. |
