M900 Engine Paint
Several forum members have refreshed the engine paint over the past few years, but how are the various options for preparation, paint types and method of application holding up?
I need to paint an M900 engine and an E750 engine, each of which are still in a big lump, but are both out of their frames. Helpful suggestions (Except buy a KTM or M1200R) welcome, thanks.

Simoniz I used. Cut back to metal or strong paint. Tech primed. Painted then lacquered on casings only. Only used heat paint on barrels as simoniz is good for heat anyhow. I never painted heads as were vapour blasted clean. It's my choice not too.
