Ahh Martyn at leat there is a bit of scope to put a few more miles on before it blows up on you.
You haven't got long though so out between gusts might be a good plan

Cheers guys,
think i'll do belts before running it and need to consider new tyres. My mate did a few miles on the originals last year but think 14 year old tyres may need replaced!!!
The cans are carbon can company ones so not made by Swona.
I hope it is a nice bike as i've never ridden LOL just always fancied it and got it for a good price. I need to rebuild some NCB since binning last bike so this one fits the bill nicely

Hello and welcome.
750s are great monsters.
Mine had a similar history...2 former owners (sisters in law in my case), and only 2000 dry miles.
5yrs later I'm completely besotted and will be keeping it for ever.
Hope it works for you too.

Belt change is definitely called for.....see Ducatitech video for info.
And if you're after tyres, then Gary T is your man for advice on which ones, pressures etc.......

How about 1950 in two days then Gary! It wasn't on a Monster I will admit, but it was a hell of a weekend.

Wiltshire to Lands End, to John O Groats and back to Wiltshire. I left here at 8am on Saturday and got back at 2am Monday morning.
