New Biker and Ducati owner ; )

Hi all.

Newbie here and soon to be Ducati Monster 900ie Dark owner ; )
Just need to pick it up and get it serviced. Last owner mentioned the throttle was sticking so will want to sort that!

Will also need a replacement headlamp as it's broken, so if anyone had one going spare let me know a price!

If it's just the glass broken you can get a replacement from Motobins it's the same glass as an R80/R100 BMW. Should be around £25

Excellent. Cheers Pedro!
I'm down in Kent and haven't actually done my test, booked for end of next month! ; (

I just couldn't pass up on my bosses Monster, so took it off his hands. Should be able to get it all spick and span for end of next month.

Look forward to learning from the guys on here!

Welcome.

Kent or Middlesex?

Motobins are a great supply of Bosch parts.
Also Stein Dinse in Germany, and not forgetting my favourite parts counter who do mail order too: Moto Rapido in Winchester.

Yet another one.....new biker buys best bike in the world at first attempt.
I almost feel sorry for you, having peaked so early, there's nowhere left to go.
And a bike with a known history too.
Hello, welcome and happy trails.

That good huh? ! I have read some write ups and it's a well rated machine so looking forward to the summer.
To be honest I wasn't going to get anything like a Monster for a first bike but this came at the right price and time.
I was hung up on getting a smaller KTM for green laning/trail riding which I still do want, maybe save that for next winter now!

If after a while you fancy more of the same and you want to upgrade from the M900 you could always get one of the really bonkers ones from the S4 family!

So passed Mod 2 today in the pissing Kent rain. Soaked through but it was worth it!
Got the V5 through today and just waiting for a headlight lens to come through then I will get it MOT'd.

Might be around for a Bluebell Hill Sunday morning trip in the not too distant future
