The Weekender starts today.

Is that the sort of plug you meant?

Three monsters

….at the Kitchen Garden,A59 heading in the general direction of Harrogate on the way to the Weekender.

We decided to take the scenic route,ie avoid motorways but the amount of road works en- route made the journey tedious ,Preston in particular ,the A59 opened up to its free flowing self for a good while and it was nice to stop and grab some lunch and refreshment.

Chaos lay in wait ahead of us with all routes around Harrogate log jammed, some incident closing the nearby A1M having an effect on the local roads.

Stinger and Rollo were already settled in the bar so there was some catching up to do! The Lodger was next to arrive with Grumpy completing the group following a similar traffic experience around York…..fingers crossed for clearer roads Saturday.

Thanks Kimbo, so even more pics!

Today the plan was to. Ride across to Saltburn on sea, great seaside destination, do the seaside thing then back for bbq.

Getting ready for a days riding, team ukmoc do some final adjustments to the monsters.

Hope you lot had a great time, you certainly had the weather for it.

Interesting, and I have to say surprising, last paragraph there from you Moco1961?
It would be easy to jump to conclusions that something has 'occurred' during the discussions about how to take the club forward, but I'm sure it will all come out in the wash at some point.

Fabulous weekend’s riding!
Got a sunburned bonce on the Saturday in Saltburn by the sea….
Even the rain didn’t dampen the spirits! ( I think my jeans are dry now!)
Massive thanks to Mike for organising it, to Gaza for the cool enamel badges too!
Thanks guys for your company too, im assuming everyone made it home safely….

Fab weekend guys.....hotel was very good ..food was good...staff were excellent....rides to Saltburn by the sea and Flamborough Head were great.....the weather played a major part....apart from a drenching in the monsoon on the way back from Bridlington.....all dried out by the time we got back to the hotel.Roads around Yorkshire were great and not too busy.
Thanks to MOCO1961 for organising it all. Really enjoyed it.
