The Mahle KL145 is pretty much it I think. Not sure why you would want an eqivelent? Or even an equivalent.
I usually just shop around for the Mahle KL145. It's also used on a lot of BMWs so is very ubiquitous. Opie oils always seem to have them the cheapest.

Go on Ebay dont buy from Ducati I usually by 3 genuine mahle filters at a time ,, for the price of 1 from Ducati

Inside the tank should have a welded on sprung U shaped clip for the 145 filter

S2R 800 has a plastic tank Jerry, with everything mounted on a hatch in the bottom of the tank.

Just found the original filter is made by Fram, but must be exclusive to Ducati as cannot find any in a search.
