For sale: Dainese Laguna Seca 2 Piece Leathers
I've simply lost too much weight to fit them any more, dieting it turns out is an expensive business.
Euro Size 60 should fit 42" waist and 50" chest, I've worn them very little and they are in very good condition. Cost new was close to £800, looking for £390 ono Dainese Laguna Seca suits uses D-Skin leather, specifically developed by Dainese to offer higher performance than traditional cowhide, reaching tensile strength standards 60% higher and tear resistance 80% higher.D-Skin is treated with Dainese's own wax and silicone treatment to give exceptional softness. Panels in the jacket and jeans are punch vented for cooling. D-Stone, a man made fibre with anti-tear performance similar to leather is used in insert panels, where D-Stones elasticity allows movement and improves comfort. The Dainese Laguna Seca suit has stretch panels at the top of the jeans and bottom of the jacket. Lining Developed by Dainese's racers, the 3D bubble lining in the body and buttocks areas creates an air chamber between the rider and the outside of the suit creating an ideal micro-climate in hot and cold conditions. The sleeves and legs feature a fixed Sanityzed lining, a material with anti-bacterial treatment that stays fresh. Armour Dainese moulded composite armour protects elbow, knee and shins. Titanium inlays are fitted in the shoulders. Dainese developed titanium inserts to avoid twisting injuries - titanium does not grip the road surface.Soft inserts are fitted in the hip, upper arm and rib areas. Dainese interchangeable knee sliders included. # Double calf zips. # Suit-boot fastening # Aerodynamic hump. # Dainese care and cleaning kit included. # Adjustable vents under arms. Actually, I've been wondering if a pile of pies might be cheaper than new leathers.

Is there any way the suit can be altered by a professional so that the final cost might be less than a new set ?
And as Shuffy says, eat more pies boy !

Is a good point... I enquired about some changes to my one piece as I was considering buying another size, fits good in some parts and not so good in others.
Anyway, the quote was much cheaper than just buying the next size. Unless they're just too big all over, might be worth calling up some of the custom suit makers and checking. |

I looked into it but over 4 inches need to be taken out of the chest and waist and even the sleeves and legs would need work.

The pie plan is not going well so I headed over to Nine Lives leathers and they could adjust them to fit.
So they are no longer for sale. Cheers for the advice, Andy |

Nine Lives learthers are good - they have adjusted Andy's trousers to fit and put zips in to join my jacket and trousers for the track day.

Oz, there's a guy in Canterbury, Mojo leathers, who can sort those for you. He used to do all our race team stuff and still works from home for some extra pocket money. I don't have his number to hand but I'm sure it'll be on the web somewhere. He used to have an XS1100 with a sidecar to cart his stuff around in!!
