IMA Special parts yokes

Selling these due to taking a different direction.

They are bored out to 58mm on the lower to fit Panigale forks. The top is 53mm. Black anodised

I can make any size sleeves for the buyer, so they can fit whatever forks they may have. There are.a few little brackets missing by the look of the ima website. They do make all parts available to buy.

Looking for £295 plus post.
Unable to get pics up. Happy to send via WhatsApp or email. Just pm.
Here is a link to IMA

Just open https://imgbb.com/ them upload your pictures, then copy and paste the "BBCode fully linked" into your post.

Are the yokes for Monsters?
What is the offset?
Do they have handlebar clamp holes?

Gazza, These would appear to be a real bargain and if I didn't already have a similar set on my Monster then I would be all over these. It looks like they do 2 versions of the top yoke for standard 696/796/1100 bar clamps or clip-ons but I wouldn't be bothered too much either way as you can get clip ons with risers or convert to 796 type easily enough anyway.

They are the clip on type with the slots in the top yoke. They are the std 30mm offset.
They are for the early monsters. I had these for a S4.

Std offset for all Monsters up to 2002 is 25mm and 30mm thereafter.

I would be looking for a handlebar clamp version. (If I was looking!)

Strange that you got an invalid file notice as you are just pasting in a line of code and not uploading a file?

I thought they changed the frame geometry with the '01 S4 and the other IE ST framed bikes of the time, however I think you are partially correct as the 900Sie change came much later because they still had the old hoop style frame on that model for a while afterwards.

I was under the impression that all the headstock angles were the same. 24 degrees.

The different rear suspension mounting had no effect.

It should also fit the S2/S4R/RS bikes as although the frame was different it was only the rear part of it they changed slightly for the SSA.

I reckon they should fit both pre and post ST framed bikes, although the top nut is different.

You got the right idea, you just need to share the hotlink for forum links and it should work.

Call the change over late '01 - 2002 if you like. You know as well as anyone how hard it is to pin Ducati down to a date.

If you were to fit 30mm offset yokes to a Monster originally fitted with 25mm offset yokes (say pre '01), assuming a rake of 24 degrees, it would reduce the trail by roughly 5.47mm.
That's a quite significant amount and would have a very noticeable effect on the handling and stability.
I would not recommend doing this unless you are fully aware of the geometry change and understand what the change implies.
It's not just a straight swap we're talking about.

What was the difference on the earlier models that made it work with 25mm offset and Visa versa?
