At last, new pics!!

I literally just sold my S2R800 but I have always wanted to feature it in the monster of the month, I have some gr8 pics from when I first got it right through to the finished bike. The sequence shows its 'birth' to Ray (when I knew nothing about how to modify) chopping my tail, My engine casing respray which was the most satisfying change and a must for all falking monsters! right through to how she was yesterday pre-sale.

Quick rundown of spec

Modifications

1. Full Zard System with Carbon sleave and removable baffles
2. Rizoma Clip on bars
3. Rizoma Rear Sets
4. Pazzo Shorty Levers
5. Red Billet Clutch and Brake resevoir covers
6. Kellerman Micro Indicators all round
7. R & G Crash Bungs
8. Scottoiler
9. Small Licence Plate
10. Black Powder Coated Wheels
11. Clocks and Dials Lowered
12. Tail Tidy
13. Speedymoto Billet Belt Covers
14. Speedymoto Billet Crankcase cover
15. Black Gloss Black Seat Cowel
16. Carbon 1098 front fender
17. Spareshack front sprocket cover
18. CRG Lane Splitter Mirror

I have also tidied up all the wiring on the subframe so it is all neatly hidden within the bike and I have also taken off the pillian passenger rear sets, these have been completely removed along with the welded mounts.

Thanks to all those who helped, you know who you are, I will be doing it all over again at some point!! the pleasure was in completing each stage and seeing the results after.

no, sold it all in, I'll be doing it again after next summer, would like a black S4RS next time, we'll see depending on the £££

I thought my white wheels looked Ok until I saw your black 'uns. whats the rough cost of having that done? powdercoat or enamel?
Impressive. understated and cool at the same time.

I'm actually sorry that I saw it! it shows up the original exhaust as a carbunkle, and the white wheels just Have to go! Kerrrcchhiinngggg!

price of powder coating is cheap but it varies, I got help with mine. If you took the prep it all yourself then I cannot imagine you'd be paying more than £100 for th epair, def worth doing. The next thing was to powder coat the swing arm black. Next time I'm buying a black one!!!! save money on powder coat ha ha ha

A question, 7th picture from the top what is that black object under the seat just behind the tank attached to the frame?

That is the black pressure chamber that gets fed from airbox and the rear of engine.

Albie I think he may be referring to my Scottoiler, its partially hidden so difficult to spot, if looked at closely the 'chain fluid feeder pipe' runs down to the front sprocket.
