Just looking for some help on which bulbs to buy for my Monster 796?

I use Philips X-Treme Vision H1 and H7 bulbs. I have used them in cars and bikes and they are a great bulb. However IMHO the X-Treme Vision bulb is hampered by the poor headlight design of the 696/796/1100 which gives a very inconsistent beam. At night almost every car/bike that I pass (or passes me) has better headlights.

If I regularly rode at night on unlit roads at speeds in excess of 50mph I would change the headlight.

What fitting is the bulb? I have just bought some ba9 fitting 32 SMD LED bulbs which are a little too big to fit in the hole in the reflector of my S4. If you think they will fit yours I will pass them on. I was after some 20 LED but couldn't find any, currently I have a paltry 10 led bulb which is still brighter than the standard bulb.

H6W for the side light, its a pain when you don't find the right ones!

Thats the main reason I'm figuring out which bulbs I need before spending on them!

Thanks for the offer though!
