Ducati newbee; M900ie Dark 2002
Just got my first Non-Harley bike and are super eager to get to know this new member of my bike park.
A test ride on my friends modified M900 left me with no doubt that this would be my next project. After finishing my last project (Sportster XL1200R to Cafe Racer) I wanted to go for a Scrambler look on the next. Had orginally a Triumph or a Sportster in mind, but after riding this M900 I never looked back Now I have bought a 2002 M900ie Dark, and have started my research for basically everything I need to learn about this bike and brand. Which is a lot😄 How does the bike work, engine set up, specs, electrics, what aftermarked parts will fit, cross-model fitment, model specific options, preferred manufacturers, prices etc. Excited AF! |

Welcome! (Perfect timing too as we'll be needing another build thread soon when 350TSS and buzzer have finished their projects.)

Welcome - you have joined the right CLUB!
Bought My M900ie in 2011 as a bit of a wreck - easy to work on though and lots of help available here. Started with a 907ie followed by an ST2 and then 'Norah' - lots of characture - pulls like Train - sounds great - and can still get my feet on the ground (just) at 80 years of age. |
