Yes, VHT 2 coats from a rattle can, I have always had good results from this stuff. The problem that most guys have with it is flaking, but you can avoid this by only using a bare minimum, two coats is all it takes for best results I find.

I cleaned everything in the carbs with fresh petrol before assembly.

I've got the original block of 8 warning lights, it was the charging light but it was just corroded connections. Amazingly all the electrics seem to be working!

I've got it ticking over OK but it's popping slightly on a steady throttle. I've yet to balance the carbs and put the silencers on properly so hopefully all will be well.
