I know that this is a strange request , but does anyone have a SC Project silencer DB-killer to sell?

Check sc project website. Fair chance that they can sell them separately.

mailto:support@sc-project.com Google Translate may be useful to put at least part of your enquiry into Italian.

Also you need to say which SC can you refer to. Their CR-T can has no baffles and unless you do your own setup there is no mountings for one. Tried on hyper all i managed to do is spit it out somewhere....

I had one of the baffle-less exhausts on my evo for a time. I bought; as close a diameter baffle as I could find from SP Engineering, and got a mate to machine it down. It worked perfect.
I then sold it so someone out there has the only exhaust of that type with a baffle. M2-GP was the exhaust I had. |

I have an SC1 on my evo. The dB killer is retained by an internal circlip. If yours is like mine you will see the annular grove for this clip in your can. I recently had to buy a replacement 50mm stainless steel circlip for mine because the original had broken in half and been lost on the road. If your killer arrives without the clip I got mine from George Lodge & Sons Ltd, about £3 inc postage.

"DB-OV-S DB-Killer for Oval / Conic Muffler, with dedicated seeger €65." The 'Seeger' is the circlip you mention. At that price I will continue to let the neighbours suffer! Meanwhile I will keep an eye open for a second hand one. |

The official SC project one would still be my choice (I have the Titanium version but I think the fittings and dB killer are just ordinary SS) but it seems very expensive if there is postage on top of the Euro65. Luddite's find at 38 + 14 postage seems better value and I am sure it would fit because the instructions make it clear that it is machined to fit the 51mm id. I'm not sure why it needs a black coating if it is SS anyway, also it is a different design. I agree that the orifice into which it fits is 51mm, hopefully the coating does not interfere. Circlips come in even sizes at that diameter and the standard 50mm clip is about 52mm expanded and so fits nicely into the groove. A 52mm clip is way too big. Thickness of these standard clips is also correct for the groove. What a nightmare, once upon a time there were things known as shops and dealerships where you could look at and touch and measure this sort of thing and be sure of what you were buying, but then again there wasn't much choice.

Looking at the eBay listing again, Tim, especially the fourth picture, I think that offering is like Desmoworld's "Legal Look" baffles, which were turned from billet aluminium. There's no real restriction and it looks like it just reduces the exhaust exit. So, like the Desmoworld ones, I'd guess it sounds somewhere between baffled and open.

Would this type work? There's loads of them listed on the page for the db-killer.
They seem to go up the other end of the silencer and so would not even show, they look as if they could be ground about a bit to fit if it was a problem? Surely worth a punt at those prices? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Motorcycl....c100008.m2219
