How many miles
What model Monster have you got and how many miles has it done, what's the known record for the highest ?
I just met one of the guys from Ducati Up North who was visiting a friend of ours. His Monster 800 has done 88,000 miles ! My 1100s has done 1900 |

My S2R 800 (06) has done 24000 miles and growing quite rapidly.
By the end of this year it will have 27000. Didn't experience any problems so far, but it's approaching its middle age I guess. Was thinking how much more I can put on it without rebuilding the engine... |

My 99 600 has done about 22,000 I had 6hr 30 on it today.
I did near 300 miles in gusts and torrential rain today and was happy even though my ruddy Oxford heated grips control broke it will light up to 30 % and warm to that but no further .. Cross as they are not cheap. Still got to fix fuel sensor |

My MZ ETZ must have been well bad .... I brought it for a hack to work.
It did not even get 50miles before it died a death I brought it as bomb proof I think this one had been nuked it was bad!!! I sent it back to the seller by AA ....who took I think 6 hours first sent the wrong "van" then had to get a recovery truck .... before they decided it was dead as a ... The owner got it started and said come back and it will be fine but I said if that can't get me 50 miles home no way will it get me to work every day!! |
