Its a shame to see but needs must. Hopefully all will restore itself and may even give me more chance to go. All said you did a great job organising it. Stay safe all.

Mike, it’s a decision which had to be made and well done, it’s prudent given the fast changing situation and one of the options is bound to happen! Stay safe all and see you in September (don’t make it the 25th-27th though as the racing’s on at Castle Combe)

Mike
As others have already said, this is really the only decision that you could take. Well done for making the call early. At the moment September seems to be the best option, so hopefully you will be able to make it work & I will be able to make it.

Just picked this up, got back from a week in Madeira last night. You really have had the sh1tty end of the stick to deal with (twice) Mike! Well done for dealing with it decisively.

September fine for me, I assume our £25 deposit will just be held for the new dates?

Mike, sorry this has hit after all your effort so far, but really it was the only choice. I now have September pencilled in provided I have been allowed out of solitary by then (over 70).

Hi Paul, hopefully you remain fit and well following your holiday.

Glad September is good for you, and the rest of the gang too I hope, I think by September we will be ready for a knees up, this is going to be a bumpy ride for the whole Country.

I was reluctant to announce the dates until I have confirmation in writing from Helen, however to give everyone the heads up the weekend of 18/19/20th is where I am heading, this date gives us the little lounge and boydel room exactly like last year...... I understood Helen has only taken card details but everything will be transferred to the new dates.

..yes Dave, things have deteriorated rapidly since the weekend ,thanks to you and all the gang for the support. It will get worse before it gets better. I got to hear Manchester airport car park bookings are 90% down for the coming weeks, it's having a catastrophic effect to businesses accross the country ......part from toilet paper manufacturers !

I always smile when someone refers to solitary....picture of Steve McQueen with his baseball comes into my head !

I think you mean Paul Newman?.. The Cooler King?

Dates sound good. Does this mean that we don't call Helen? Will she cancel all our bookings en-bloc for May.

Damn! Just googled it. It was Steve McQueen..
