'ere !

Just joined up as I bought a 'new' 2001 S4 last week.
Has been in a crate until last month.

I do about 20k miles a year, mainly on the BMW and mainly pleasure riding.

Have been to artic circle, africa, USA, India, Greece etc so like to have a nose around.

Am very pleased with S4 although am not enjoying running in much !

Find the telescopic forks a bit rough after telelever but I guess you get used to it in the end.

Main thing I need to do is sort out the quiet exhaust !

Good find! There seem to be a few "new" old bikes turning up. Think i've heard of three in less than a year! You wouldn't think you'd still find them but there you go. I'm sure she'll be brilliant once run-in. I've currently got a 750 dark of the same vintage but if i change, it'd be for an S4. Welcome to UKMOC and Enjoy!

Welcome to the family and congrats on the choice of Monster - you'll have plenty of fun once you can open it up

Yes, I believe it was on e bay a week before I bought it, went up to £4000 but the winner was a time waster.

I had it delivered for £3600 after spotting it on ukgser.com

Good price for a new bike I thought, no warranty though so it may end up not being so cheap !!
