rough running M750

M750 is running sick , starts well , seems to tick over a little off beat at low revs it seems tractable but still not smooth although when balanced all the vacuums are perfect ,, as i accelerate hard it appears to missfire , almost stall like ICE vapour block but its not as it the picks up and revs to redline but its not smooth ,, Carbs were recently cleaned , have swopped igniters and coils from The 750ss and the bad running is still there .. new plugs too

so it is the carbs again , fuel filter which seems clean ??? or ????

lucky the 750ss is purring nicely so im able to enjoy the sun ahem

I wouldn't dismiss the plugs, even though they are new.
Could you try swapping the plugs with the SS?

My 900 was a bit like this for a while - rough starting, poor idle and stuttering under load. Turned out to be some dodgy wiring to the ignition boxes. Wee bit of heat shrink later and its grand again.

OK so have moved all electronic items from 750ss to monster and the Monster is still off , nasty off beat tick over and erratic running at 5-6k revs almost a massive flat spot and stall then picks up and runs rough to peak revs

must be the carbs again fuel filter changed

with the monsters coils and igniters and leads /plugs the 750ss is sweet running once warmed up

i only just fixed the carbs and no time at present , so will run the 750 ss instead
