Price check

I am contemplating selling my 796, but I have no idea what kind of price I can expect.

Any ideas?

2010 796 with the following

About 21k miles I think
black with red frame

Full titanium 2 in to 1 exhaust system
Ducabike rearsets
Woodcraft clip ons
speedymoto top yok (gets rid of the bolt holes for the riser that is no longer needed)
brembo RC front brake
Brembo clutch master
Oberon clutch slave
Goodridge hoses
Brembo monoblock front calipers
crash bungs (can't remember which)
Nitron NTR R2. shock
The flappy valve thing has been mapped out

probably some other stuff but I can't remember

Servicing as has been done by me (with Slob doing all of the actual work and me just getting in his way)

In that case I’ve got a bit of string, half a mars bar and a 5p piece in my pocket…

Tell me about the string, is it the itchy green stuff, or good quality paracord?

I can raise you to blue nylon draw chord, 5 mm good gear but I don’t want to string you along !

Sadly for you it’s the frayed white stuff from Tesco, the mars bar hasn’t picked up too much fluff though.

With the potentially pending recession you might well regret not taking that mars bar

Sorry we haven’t helped much Dan.
The answer is always (if you can) return the bike to as close to stock as possible, sell it for book price and sell your ‘good bits’ seperately. You’ll get back far more of what you spent, unless you’re lucky enough to find somone who wants exactly the bike you’ve built over the years.

If it’s on a 10plate it CAP’s trade at £2475 as a clean standard bike. A 60 plate is only £75 more.

A private sale if it’s clean, fully serviced & fresh MOT surely it’s worth £3k of anyones money
