Side stand and rear indicator to fit S4RS
My alloy side stand has snapped and resultant topple took out rear indicator also - would love to hear from anyone with a replacement for either of these taking up space in their shed... OEM parts if possible, or in the case of the indicator I would take a complete set of the black Ducati alloy replacements from that era...

Is that the original that snapped or an aftermarket one?
Was it parked on a very steep slope? Will be checking mine for stress cracks! |

Not black I know but genuine DP/DPM from around the right era. Any good?

Where did it break ?
I'm particularly wondering whether the pivot knuckle area is still sound. If you don't want the old bits, is there any chance that I could have them ? I've been looking at various options for making an extended stand, possibly even with a carbon leg, and your broken stand may be the ideal basis for experimentation without having to cut up a good one. I'd be happy to pay postage etc. |

Original, and the bike may have had a shunt from a car in the street, but certainly not on a slope. I've also been heavy handed with it from time to time, turning the bike around on the stand. Have been told it is not an isolated case though, so you would do well to check around the thinner section by the pin. See if these shots work...

Darren69 I'm tempted - I'll have to have a look at how the flexible mounts and guard all fit together and come back to you- these would be good on the front for sure.

If the stand off streetfighter would fit I've got one complete with bracket, let me know your thoughts.

I think I may still have the proper DPM adapter plates for the front pair.

Ah well, it was worth an ask.
Thanks for the reply anyway. I'm not having a dig but tbh, if you've been turning the bike around on the stand then I'm not surprised that it has broken. On my 750, with steel stand, such treatment would be likely to damage the crankcases, so I guess you could consider yourself lucky. I don't even allow the mot guy to use the stand to raise a wheel to check its bearings. |

On the rear indicator .. kind of...
I spotted this carbon tail, which comes with indicators. It does have one damaged fitting though. And it will go for a fair bit more than the current bid, I would think. But maybe its a combo that would suit your situation ? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ducati-Mon...p2056016.l4276 |
