Sylvain does it himself !
I just bumped into Guintoli in the car park down at the local B&Q.
Couldn't quite place the face at first, but knew it was familiar. Thought it must be Tonio, of this club, whom I had met recently at Mallory.....same nationality, build, age, genial nature....but it didn't quite add up. Hi, says I. He responded in kind, but with no flicker of recognition. You're the guy with the Ducati, says I ? .... Yes says he, with still no flicker. And you're french, says I ? .... Again he agrees, but no more. Is your name Antoine ? I enquire........No, he replies. Oh, I say, somewhat bemused. So I didn't buy some rearsets from you a couple of weeks ago ? ....No, he confirms, but offers no clues. I mutter an apology and wander off thinking that perhaps I've slipped into a parallel universe, or something. Finally the penny drops and I have to go back into B&Q and track him down, in kitchens and bathrooms, where I grin, address him by the correct name and shake his hand, somewhat relieved that the world hasn't done a phase shift after all. |

Phew! I'm always relieved that the world hasn't done a phase shift after all!
Nah I lie! I love a good phase shift. Happens all the time in my universe.

Brilliant
You should have just asked him if he could ride a bike. He would have replied yes and you would have been sure it wasn't me |
