Hijack away mate.. It will be interesting to see what Norton were competing against, with their archaic old 40's derived designs. It really does beggar belief what they thought was okay to put on the market in those changing times.. A sort of latter day steam punk?

Look what Ducati had to offer in the early 70's.. MMm nom nom.!

IIRC the 750 Sport wasn't actually Desmo but it was a big step up in the right direction.
