"Timing" for a basic bolt?
Hi all,
What would be your delivery expectation from Ducati (or their national distributor) for a basic bolt (cambelt tension screw or any other basic bolt for that matter) for a relatively modern Ducati Monster (620ie - 2004 model)???? I'm trying to do this as a poll but:
Thanks in advance for your opinions.

Well obviously option one, but since you bothered to start this thread I'd have to go with option 5.
Hope you're doing okay Jon, other than the lack of fasteners in UAE. |

Am good, Rob.
Hope you guys are looking forward to the weekender! Am trying to get Ray and Marcus out here on a cheap holiday. Let's just say I'm finding what someone's comments, who represents our passion, very hard to believe! Please hi to Thuli and the boys at Rosso Corse for me when you see them in person. Am very serious about them coming out my way for a visit. Best J.

I would have looked for an alternative by now or asked around. Annoying isn't it. We will miss you at the weekender mate.

Is what I finally decided to do, my good friend.
One phone call to Moto Rapido - delivered to Parents' house the very next day and is now on it's way to the very warm sands via FedEx. I sincerely wish I could be there. Raise a glass for me!

If it's in stock, swing arm bearing due in mid July from MR. Not their fault they are normally excellent.

Hi Stafford, thankfully Moto Rapido saved the day. They're fantastic along with a few other guys in the UK.
My issue is with an apparent complete lack of stock for a single bolt from Ducati (Italy) or its main distributor/supplier. I am strongly suspecting someone at this end, at a very new franchise of Ducati, is not telling some home truths.

Your not yet important enough. Maybe easier to go through us (UKMOC) via dealers.

That depends...I'd expect them to be able to do it in a few days. Or probably even have it in stock already if I visited a dealer. But then experience tells me to expect it to take weeks
Glad you found one though |

you did say it was for a 'basic' bolt
