Hey guys
I've been a petrol head for as long as I can remember, always into my cars Having recently turned 24 I decided to give 2 wheels a go via DAS I'm doing lessons atm and have my off road booked, so hopefully it'll not be long till I get on the road. I got into Ducati naked's through Tron I guess as the SC1000 made me want one so bad, till I realised how rare they are lol So went for the next best thing, I currently have a deposit down on an M796 hoping to pay for the rest in full next week, then its just a matter of getting my license! I'm from Northern Ireland so hopefully theres a few other locals to meet up with and chat to etc The reason I joined is because I was after some advice on exhausts on the ducatiforum and was advised to join up here. So my question is, are the exhaust slip ons the same for the 696/696+/796/1100/1100EVO? I ask because on sportsbikeshop the slip on for the 796 is discontinued whilst the 696+ is available in 48hrs and the 1100 in 2 weeks. Thanks for any help, I look forward to getting to know the forum! ![]() |

EVO has completely different pipes, the others should all be the same fit (for slip-ons NOT full system)
However if they come with a new ECU they will differ |

They do have different numbers on them but personally I would think same diameter and definitely same fitments. I would think the ECU may be programmed differently but I have no idea but they run fine without the race ecu. It just smooths the mid range

Thanks for the advice, I should have mentioned its an Akrapovic system I'm looking at so no ECU to worry about, just slip on and it should be good to go then?

Should be ok, maybe a bit on the lean side, the ecu richens it up. Power commander will do the same thing for less £'s and is fully programmable. If you can get one for M796 that is?
