big up
Just to balance up all the negative stuff I thought I would give a few suppliers some praise relating to recent purchases
1. Nitron - Exemplary communication, customer service and a great product 2. B and C Express - Great communication and resolution of problem with supplied parts. 3. Bike Torque Racing - very patient and helpful in sourcing a part for me. 4. Louigi Moto - Very helpful and knowledgable 5. Steine-Dinse - ditto Russell |

Always nice to give a mention to parts or companies that have given a good service.
Well done

Can ditto some of those sentiments:
Nitron- bought a rear shock from them years ago and have always had fantastic service from them along with a cracking product that is still looking and working as good as new after a fresh service. Bike Torque Racing- Another great company to deal with who I have used many times right from back when they were solely GSX-R specialists. Again fantastic service and lots of advice if asked for. Louigi Moto.....what can I say about them?? Well more about Rich, the owner actually. Natty kind of introduced me to him after I started classic racing with the CRMC and as many here know, Rich supports a lot of Ducati racing in a variety of classes but when he gets time he also races his lovely Ducati 250 and has helped me a lot with advice and reinforced the fact that the CRMC paddock is one of the friendliest in club racing. Oh! And everyone with 'hooped' rear suspension should buy a pair of there risers- you will not believe the difference raising the rear of your Monster will make to the handling!!

Another worth a "gold star" is Mark at Scorpio Electronics - sorted my wayward S2R instrument cluster when it decided to lose it's accumulated mileage - recovered the missing data and restored it to normal, first class service and a good price too. And Helmet City - I use the branch at West Bay, Dorset. Knowledgeable, helpful and good prices too. Also a nice ride to get there! |

Carl Harrison Motorcycles needs to be on this list.
I've just had him check and adjust my valve clearances this morning, and I'm glad I did, as all of them needed adjustment and some of the half rings had broken up too. I don't think I have let anyone work on a bike of mine since 1976, but Carl instilled the greatest confidence from the word go. Not only has he done a swift, clean and excellent job on the valves, but he has given my bike a wink over with his experienced eye and pointed out some important stuff that I need to attend to, whilst being otherwise highly complimentary about my bike. We obviously share a love of Italian and British bikes...He even let me bounce in the saddle of his T160...But He wouldn't let me take it home. What a nice chap...I give Carl 11 out of 10.... |
