Last year the stand was opposite the main hanger, just outside the restaurant/shop (except for a few minutes when it went walkabout)

The stand is still in storage where the Weekender was ment to take place this year....up north!

I would look for a collection of monsters huddled together, with a couple of NFN ( normal for Norfolk) types near by!

All in all, a great way to get out for the day, thanks to Chris and the UK Buell Group. More photos from today -

Due to the pandemic, new arrivals were subject to a Cat scan -

Another view of the Monster line, 50% M1000 -

This picture really belongs on Blah blah's current thread - from the front, Mito, Mito (early), 916, 996. And yes, the Lanc does look odd, the wing tips are off it -

Very good dacs.. Took me a while to work it out though..!

Nice show of proper shape Monsters, whose is the modern one on the end?

The Lanc was not run up because the limited gate takings were not enough for the fuel ect.

Sorry I didn't show, no Grumpy either?

I've headed to Wales for a weekend break. Needed some me time!
I've also bought a new bike, so wanted to bed in with it.
My business is booming and haven't stopped right through the malarkey going on in the world. Would normally have been away a couple of times to unwind, but with travel restrictions, that was a no go until recently.
Just as well I didn't head to France as I normally would!!!

.....the new addition is looking good Dave, I see Jane was parked where we had the stand last year. How far away from "airworthiness" , I was reading it's weeks away ?......obviously wings need to be sorted

She certainly looks in good condition but that's no indication of how close they are with her. Maybe leave the wings as-is, she'd have a cracking roll rate then.

Same here, but fancied some lazy time at Gazza Towers. Hope the trip and the new bike went well.. Catch up soon..

Just noticed the graphic display of the Lancaster's NACA 23012 tip aerofoil section... Nice. About 2 degrees of washout too I would guess? She'd probably fly empty okay without the tips.

The cat is now called Trigger apparently. It was ##gger before.
