Newbie to the world of the Monnie!!

Welcome to all,

I've just picked up my M900 1998 (last of the old style!!) and she's great, the body work and frame are immaculate, as are the wheels. Engine case is abit worn and tatty (great winter project there). She starts on the button and runs like clock work.

She's my 1st monster but my 2nd Ducati (stupidly sold my mint and highly upgraded 748 at the beginning of the year, and have been pineing to get back on some italian engineering).

I got pulled towards the monster just over a year ago, when i rode Nattyboys S4R in France (now thats a serious piece of kit). He then kindly lent it to me for the Ducati's owners dinner night at Silverstone this year and that was that.

She comes pretty much as standard, except for termis, dyno jetted to stage 2, K&N filter, and a WP steering damper, carbon rear hugger. Still once i've been round Nattyboys house things will start to take shape. Originally i was all for the tail chop, but Nat/Shandy have talked me out of it now.
Well here's afew pics and hopefully i'll be around on the monster days.

Cheers Steve

Welcome! That's a lovely bit of kit there. Keep the tail - you'll only regret it later

Enjoy!

Heehheeeee - Like a lamb to the slaughter Hayley !!!!

Steves found a lovely example..it really is very tidy indeed and I think hes quite chuffed its an original 'Il Monstro' with the old skool graphics.

Too right mate she's staying forever!! Just got back from a ride to Avebury with Ped/Shandy. And the noise she makes on the road is awesome, beats my old 748.
That reminds me, must change those belts before i start riding her again....
