Chain and sprocket - what's the cost?
I think 10k miles on the original chain is probably enough.
May I ask what anyone suggests is the cost of a replacement chain and sprockets fitted? Is there anything I need to look out for? Thanks |

I think the original Ducati sprocket is part of the hub/cush drive and maybe a Ducati only part, so maybe expensive. There are aftermarket alternatives like Renthal conversion kit that you can just change the sprocket. Another benefit is you can change the sprocket/chain without taking the wheel off.

The 2 piece ones are like this:-
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ducati-Mon...0AAOSw-CpX9Qb6 The original type are like this:- http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rear-Sproc...0AAOSwCU1Y0qUQ http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DUCATI-800...sAAOSwaEhZMCQz If you get the Renthal kit you can change it yourself next time without taking off the wheel

On that note if anyone has a spare/redundant sprocket carrier I would appreciate it
