Hello from South London
Hello people.
Just joined the forum, and just bought a Monster. I've been using a scooter for the last couple of years for the daily commute to work and got bored of being left at the traffic lights. Always had a soft spot for the Monster, the only bike that has ever really made me stop and stare. I had almost given up looking for one in my measly price range but then found something on Auto Trader that fitted the bill and I am absolutely chuffed with it. Its far from new, but rides lovely, sailed through MOT and for what I want it for, the daily trek to the office, it is perfect. Although having looked through the forum and now brimming with inspiration, I think I am going to spend a bit of time, money and effort getting it looking spot on. Forums seems great, a friendly bunch. Looking forward to wasting some time on here. Phil. |

Hi all, thanks for the welcome!
Yeah its a nice bike, I'm sure it will be a good workhorse for the daily ride to work, sounds lovely, just like a monster should! Really looking forward to spending some time on it, the snow in not so sunny Brockley has kept it locked up looking sad. It has had the tail chopped off, which I quite like, but I have seen on the forum someone mentioning that if you put the exhausts up higher it can look like a bit of a wheel barrow.. Any thoughts? I think I will be spending this weekend with some soapy water and a toothbrush giving the thing a bit of a clean! P. |

I grew up in Selsdon right by the country side bit.
My folks still live there. I used to work in Coulsdon for a bit when I was getting into graphics lol. Went to school at Riddlesdown. Miss the area loads. Small world! |
