Talking New Monster Owner - Bath

Hello everyone,

Just bought my first Monster, I traded in a Duke 848 for an 1100 Evo.

I am absolutely loving it !!

I have already added a few bits:

Puig Screen
SC Racing Single Titanium Exhaust
EvoTech Performance Exhaust Hanger
EvoTech Performance Tail Tidy
EvoTech Performance Radiator Protector

Are there any other mods I should be making?

All the best, Baz.

Welcome Baz! You must pop over to Calne Bike Day on 27th July, we'll have a stand outside the Information centre/Barclays Bank for the day (by the traffic lights in the middle of town). Check out the "Calne Bike Day" thread!

Bazread, you could do a lot worse than fit a 14 tooth front sprocket, and if you then have a spare £500 get the bike ECU remapped at www.cjsracing.co.uk it's an amazing alteration and makes the engine so sooth.
They are in your neck of the woods, BS39 5QQ.

Welcome Baz.
Theres a few of us in and around your neck of the woods. Im in Corsham, Rally (Alun) is in Devizes and Liz and Stafford are in Calne. Theres a few more Monsters in the Bath n Chippenham area too.
As Liz says , get your hide to the Calne bike day, its a great day and having the stand, it lets us chill in an area with the bikes.
There are a few bike meets etc relatively locally too. Wiltshire Bikers (who I kno some of the Monster club keep an eye on their forum too) have a meet at the Harp and Crown in Gastard (nr Corsham) on a Wed eve, from around 1830.
Hope to see you around.

Welcome to the mad house Baz.
I wouldn't fit a 14 tooth if I was you, they are too small for the swinging arm and rub the front guide excessively unless you fit a larger rear as well. You are better fitting a S4rs rear sprocket if you want to gear it down. You would need extra links in your chain as well mind.

Hope to catch up sometime soon.
