You clearly haven’t driven down Stockbridge High Street then. The speed limit is 30mph, but be certain that not one, but several cars shall reverse out in front of you from the on-street parking. Between them and the “entitled” pedestrians strolling across the road any more than 20 mph would get distinctly messy.
