earth cable monster????

Ducati monster 750 has an earth cable in the main loom on right hand side of bike from the front of the bike its about 6 inches long.

where does it earth to the frame ????

,,Horn bolt or somewher else??? on 750 ss it fits to side frame member but monster does not have same fittting point ,,, its not the battery earth or the engine earth .

after removing the air box i saw that the cable actually reaches the main earth point same as battery earth if routed behind carbs .

no my loom does not have that one its a 2000 model its the other one under the main fuse 19

That one is bolted to the back of the engine crankcase on mine.

Mine has a separate short one from engine earth to footrest mounting bolts

This is 93 loom. You can see the front earth above 36 that goes to rectified mount. End of loom earth goes to under battery box frame mount with tube retainer clip 26
Earth 52 lead goes from engine to footrest hanger bolt on rear with a nut on back of lug.
