heading towards Hexam just outside Alston

you were way too early up at cafe (and so was i spent what must have been another hour waiting for the masses to turn up)

Red monster held up be the only 3 cars for miles around

Lots of Plods around Stanhope Alston way, hope nobody was lectured.

think someone might have fallen off Membelby side

paramedic swiftly followed by police went down that way lights on , i saw no other officials
(must check mirrors more)

3 or 4 durham constab bikes out of stanhope inc Police Fireblade. 2 or 3 traps one just on the way into Alston.

I was there about 12-12:30 - on my red/white s2r - riding with a group of Triumphs - came up from Alston, then went the other way past hadrians wall.

First time we'd been so haven't a clue really where we were!

PS: forgot to say - saw a red one and a grey one at the cafe. Can't remember seeing the riders though, sorry.
