Evening all.

Just signed up to the forum, became the proud owner of a 2016 Monster 1200s in September last year. Found the forum whilst searching for what I could buy for it!

You may find that a trophy wife would prove less expensive. Avoid searches such as "Ducati Monster upgrades/accessories/performance parts etc.

Only got 620 miles on it before the weather turned, had the first service carried out last week so dying on some better weather to see what it’s like not being stuck to running in revs!

Will try post a picture later, iPhones don’t make it easy...

87 days might be optimistic with all the salt that’s about here 😂

You'll have noticed Adam that they are very optimistic in Derbyshire, lovely roads but rationed to 1/2 a day of summer a year.
Being a bit further south I managed half a day out on the 748 without loosing any appendages but we have summer from the end of January through to the start of December

Monster needs a bit of tweaking but I might have it out this weekend

I'm Livingston, I go out in group about 16 of us (probablay only like 3 on a run day tho lol) let me know if your interested.

84days? I'm targeting early march so some where in the region of 50days. Plus hoping to get a nice day here or there for a wee south queensferry run.

Scottish Bike Show (early March) is my 1st decent run out of the year. In saying that I was out on the monster on Saturday, zero degrees however bright and sunny, had to stop at a Halfords to buy some £1.49 workshop gloves to fit under my bike gloves. I genuinely thought I was getting frostbite on the tips of my fingers, they were remarkably effective though being slightly rubberised and completely kept out the cold!

Can’t bring myself to get it covered in road crap just yet �� looking forward to doing a few miles when the weather picks up. Been looking for a slip on can for it following a horrendously scary quote for termis so if anybody has experience with different pipes I’d be keen to here from you. Not looking to remap preferably to keep the warranty in tact.

Try Arrow, Spark or SC cans, much cheaper and no need to remap as it’ll run just fine
