Rosso yet again + feck me was it cold last night
Spent the whole day with Marcus, Ray and Darren yesterday at Rosso Corse watching the bike being serviced before it's shipped out and it's amazing to see how much detail these boys go into.
Learnt a h8ll of a lot and was interesting to watch a pro at work. Only fecker was the ride home - 3 hours back to Oxford in sleet via the back roads, as I took a wrong turn - should have taken an hour and a half max. To say it was scary and feckin' cold is an understatement! Anyway another top job and worthy of a visit to all new 695/696/848/1098 et al members. Jon.

I picked my thou' up from them yesterday (Ray gave it some shim and ECU love while I was on holiday) Darren wouldn't let it leave 'til it was spotless... by the time I got home 20 minutes later it was somewhat less lovely looking.
I still love getting a Duke serviced, sure it costs a bit more than a Jap service but it always feels like it's got a whole new motor in it every time. |

Marcus said he'd been working on it for ya. I felt a bit sorry for Darren and all is hard work too - the bike looked like it had been through mud tracks when I went to wash the salt off it this morning.

I'll definately take my 695 for its first proper service there. Ray fixed my broken seat problem for in 5 minutes for free (not actually broke the release cable had disconnected) yet metropolis wanted me to leave it with them...

also its worth pointing out theres no big sign saying 'rossa corse' or anything - you go into the main entrance for bancroft road arches past all the other garages/shops and its at the end.

They're not an authorised repair centre, so if you'll have a warranty claim, Ducati may not cover it. In theory, they should, but are you really going to take them to court to enforce it?

Was without doubt the worst journey I've experienced on my bike and just beat 6 days of constant rain going to World Ducati Week and back. Couldn't see at times and was v.close to pulling over and calling for a pick up, which is what I should have done! Hardened biker me (or just plain crazy to some).
