newbie
hi all just bought a 95 600 monster in yellow and have put her on the road. just thought id say hello and ask for some advice. when i bought it it was a non runner hence the price £350. the throttle assembly on the carbs was seized and after loads of wd and a couple of hours wiggling it was free so took carbs apart and cleaned jets as it had been stood for some time. put it all back together ran nice except for a missfire at low revs (constant throttle opening). if you wind on the throttle she takes off fine. have cleaned carbs again and balanced twice too. she also had new plugs and filters too. i have spoke to the previous owner and he had same problem. one pilot screw has been rounded and i can not budge the other. has anyone got any ideas.
