Ordered and received my new genuine Ducati link so I thought I would replace it today. Ground out the old pins and split the chain but I need a new chain splitter as my old chinesium one is crap, only been used three times. Anyway tried to fit new soft link and it don't fit. I got the number from the Ducati website, confirmed by my dealer and the pins are .2mm too thick. So I have my Monster up on a stand without a chain until I can obtain a new link from my dealer.
Just be aware that just because the spares catalogue says it right doesn't mean it is.
