Hi all.

Just ordered a new 1200S (in black/black) to replace my fifth Triumph (a 955i). Due to a very rare medical condition, I needed (or, should I say, wanted!) something more user friendly and the Monster was a no brainer...my second Ducati after one of the very first 916 Bipostos back in 1994!

Has anybody fitted Evotech kit to their bikes? I've got the tail tidy coming but am seriously considering the radiator/engine/oil cooler protectors, as well as the frame and wheel spindle protection. My condition (Transverse Myelitis) has caused a loss of some muscle strength so I'm looking to ensure I've got all the bases covered just in case I have a stationary/camber issue! Don't worry.. I'm fine in motion!

Evotech stuff all good quality and fits nicely. Never had any issues

Welcome to the forum Ted, great choice , evotech is great quality as Ron says, I have the tail tidy and rad guard on my 821. My only issue was the OE bolts......which as everyone knows are made of cheese

I have a set of barely used r&g frame protectors for sale if you’re interested.
They weren’t on my 1200r when I had a serious mishap last year... it is no more sadly.

The radiator guards are a no-brainer, a holed radiator will set you back a grand.
Personally, I much prefer evotech kit to r&g rad guards which are tie wrapped on rather than bolted.

The transverse myelitis is a relatively unusual one, hope the primary source is sorted or under control and your recovering .. slowly but improving.

There's a couple of people down your way and you're in a reasonable place to get to areas of monster activity.

I see you're Hampshire based so handy for Moto Rapido, (are you buying it from them?).

Evotech stuff is well designed, nicely made and I've found that their customer service is excellent. Be aware that I don't think Evotech include printed guides with their products anymore. For installation instructions, you need to download them from their website.

Welcome too the Forum Ted, you'll find a plethora of advice and help here, all offered in our unique way. I have fitted a few Evotch bits and fully satisfied with every one. My EVO is virtually all black, so last time I had it in bits (only on days ending in 'Y') i sprayed the oil cooler guard to give a bit of colour.

(If any viewers were wondering, the TimberCare tub is for standing a container on to soak the calipers in)

Thanks for the offer - regretfully I have already taken the plunge on the Evotech. Have been in Scotland (still am) on holiday and without too much internet access. Forgot I had asked the question ( and didn't realise I had been replied to! ).

The 'serious mishap' does not sound good. Are you ok?
