She just stopped!!!!!

Hi all, if anyone has any info on known issues that could have caused this then please let me know..
All has been great with my S4 for best part of a year, that was until yesterday, came home from a ride out and literally at the bottom of my drive she cut out, in a very definite way, no messing about just stopped dead.... so far I have established it is fuel, filters off and squirt some into the ports and she fires up, then dies again. Pump runs at ignition on and I can hear fuel returning to the tank, well that is what I assume I am hearing, all wiring to the injectors looks fine, tomorrow I am setting up something to check fuel pressure, im guessing around 4 bar, if this is bad im guessing either pipe off in the tank or regulator is bad, if pressure is good it will be electrical and I am then buggered without some genius on here having some kind of clue what could be wrong as the injectors appear to be fed directly from the ECU.. Thanks in advance..

Sounds like your fuel feed pipe inside the tank has come adrift...I had a similar problem last year...but I was a long way from home....remove your fuel cap and have a look inside the tank with a torch.....you might be lucky.
