hello from Belgium!

Hello!

I'm Martin, the happy new owner of Julie's 620i.e. Dark. I've been a bikeless lurker on the site for well over a year but now I've finally bought myself a Monster and I hope to make it to a ride-out or a meet at some point.

It was a long but good day yesterday as I got up at 5:30 a.m. to drive Brussels-Loughborough and back to pick up the bike with a friend of mine. But what a surprise it was to see the bike looking even better in person so to speak than in the photos! When I got back I had a cheeky little ride despite the lack of Belgian registration and she runs really nice too.

I'm Swedish but I live and work in Belgium so if any of you are ever in Brussels and fancy a Belgian beer or two drop me a line.

Have a good one,
Martin.

It certainly is, it looks like someones pinched your gnome's fishing rod. You've had some fun on that bike and that's what matters. Glad it's gone to a good home.

Glad the monster is in a loving new home - and country - and hope you'll not be too sad with out it!

See you at the weekender - ladybird willies permitting - it will be lovely to catch up!

I wish I could post pictures... it's the one after that is really tearful (bless x)

Martin has got himself a fantastic bike there - to look at it you'd never know it was getting on for five years old - Julie lavished so much time and attention on it - do you know anyone else who would remove the lower header pipe just so they could polish it all the way round?!

Of course the tail chop was the crowning glory in my opinion... ahem.

If there was a weekender prize for the best monster previously owned... Julie would win...
